I think this happens with all iZotope plugins but for sure with both Neutron 3 adv and Ozone 9 adv.

Try make a basic kick track and a snare track, add Ozone or Neutron on the snare track, start playing the song, open the plugin and start clicking next preset from within the plugin and notice it’s out of sync by quite a lot. It also goes out of sync when muting the individual modules.

When you stop the song and start play it’s playing in sync.

I use latest versions of 64bit Renoise and iZotope plugs on Win 10.

Playback Loop Selection

Playback Loop Selection or PLS play in loop the selection in the pattern editor from a key command (suggestion: [CTRL + ALT + L]).

Go to Renoise/Edit/Preferences/Keys: “Pattern Editor:Selection:Playback Loop Selection” to link it.

Warning!

This tool is not highly accurate at very high speeds (BPM and LPB very high). In this extreme case, you can play some line after the selection. It won’t happen with reasonable use of Renoise.

Hello there,

I am trying to figure out how to trigger different phrases using the keyboard while the phrases are in program mode. I have multiple phrases setup which are triggered by the main editor but I like to choose them at will rather than have them preset. I want to be able to quickly select different phrases using the computer keyboard. I have tried setting up a instrument midi control along with a keytracker to see if I could set it up to trigger different patterns using the keyboard but I haven’t had success.

I am sure there is an easier way to do this but it has escaped me so far. I don’t think keymap is what I am looking for because it stops playing once I let go of the key.

The pop up window for both the help and the menus remains blank in Logic pro 10.5.1 until you move the mouse over it. Problem is the help windows disappear too fast to move the mouse over. This does not occur in FL Studio 20.7.

This is on Catalina 10.15.5.

I just bought Redux, trying to install got this message:

“Renoise Redux.vst” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Searched the help forum and found this:
OSX Catalina: “Renoise_Redux.vst” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified Beginners Questions - Redux How can I get past this error in OSX? I tried clicking ‘Open Anyway’ in Preferences -> Security & Privacy. But it is not an app. It is a VST. Clicking that button doesn’t seem to do anything and the VST still can’t be loaded.

Didn’t work for me though.

Trying to install it on Catalina 10.15.5, using FL Studio 20.7.

I get the “Do you want to verify anyways?” in Mac’s System Preferences app, but when I click on “Okay” it doesn’t do anything.

Hi. I would like to use Renoise without Rewire.

I’ve experienced bugs developing plugins due to Rewire incompatibility.
I don’t want to install the Renoise Rewire.

As of right now every time I open Renoise I just skip the install; is there a more permanent way to supersede this step?

Again, I DO NOT want to use Rewire w Renoise.

I made this Renoise “Playthrough” video for some friends to look at, so I thought I might as well share it here as well.

Feels like I could still do quite a bit more work on it. I’m not sure that the start of the track really fits with where it ends up going by the end.

All sounds are produced with Renoise only. Mostly with hand drawn single cycle waves.

Hi there,

everytime i launch Renoise and a new empty project opens, the BPM Value is different.
Example: first launch: 120 bpm, I close renoise. 2nd launch: 145 bpm, I close renoise. 3rd lauch 115 bpm, I close renoise. 4th launch 140 and so on.
I do not use a template at the moment
Is this a funny feature which i activated by accident?

That’s probably a stupid question but what I would love to do, is to be able to apply the native renoise effects ( and/or any vst effects I installed) on the sound input of my sound card. That way I would be able to record my guitar with the effects, or play live with the effects.

I recommend playing them in MilkyTracker instead of Renoise. I’ve tried using them in Renoise and they just don’t play back accurately.

Hi there,

I have some major issues with the cpu load lately. It goes up to 60% and beyond while playing empty songs.

I’v e played around with the settings like;

changing the number of cores
changing the GUI frame rate
changing the audio driver
changing the audio driver buffers

And nothing helped to solve it.

Does anyone have tips to look at?

Hello friends.Another day another question.So tell me how to use the send tracks properly,
should i not add any effects in the track itself and add delay reverb only in send tracks?Should i eq/compress only in the send tracks?
How to distribute my instruments in the send tracks,one for synths one for bass etc?

And a plugin question,should i disable the reverb and delay in the plugin and use Renoise effects in the track or send track?
