I was going to purchase but I really do not like the look of the Avangate payment system.
Is there an alternative?
Why not use PayPal?
How long between payment and receipt of full Renoise version?

Hi,
just same small track I cooked up recently. it’s fully sequenced in Renoise (on Linux), and except two hardware instruments (Volca Bass and Waldorf Blofeld), all sounds are either samples or vsts. Remastered by SoundCloud.

Creating Phrases Edit Section
It says I can do it when I right click but I get a message that says.
“Sorry, can currently not create phrases from instruments which already use phrases.”
I made sure that the Phrases were off but still the same message appears, I can copy and paste them and it works that way but I just don’t understand why it is the way it is?
It also creates a new Instrument when that button is pressed and not just a new Phrase within the Instrument being used.

Effect Minimization Button?
It would be nice if there was a little button near the Effects that minimized all the Effects in a chain to make browsing them faster.

Muting Loaded Samples in the Sampler list?
I noticed that there’s a move to Note-On/Note-Off layer but this seems convoluted and I hate having to go back and forth between menus when a simple Strikethrough line, to show muted and unmuted Samples, would of sufficed. Is there a better way to do this? I do like having a Phrase going and just plugging in different Samples to see how it sounds, and having a little togglable icon next to the filename would be great.

Apply LFO and envelope to same parameter
I’m trying to create a riser effect by having an envelope that sweeps the filter cutoff up over some period of time.
In addition to that, I would like to get some variety in the riser by adding an LFO that modulates the cutoff a tiny bit.
However, as soon as I turn on the LFO it seems to take precedence and completely overrides the envelope.
I can get the result I would like by adding the envelope for the filter offset in this case but that seems kind of confusing to me.
Is there a way to set the LFO to be relative to what the envelope sets as opposed to overwriting it?

How do I ensure that Renoise can rest between long calculations, restore the gui, etc.?
is there anything in the API? Any interruptions?
Or will lua coroutines help?

Banger Track Form Button?
I know that there’s the favorite button but it would be pog if there was also a button to collect posted tracks to a post list so as to make it real simple to collect all the good song related posted content and whatnot. Maybe also other buttons for other things like plugins, or instruments and stuff like that.

I’m trying to get that glide sound, which I think is just pitch, and have it be MIDI mappable to a knob on a keyboard. Would I use RingMod or something else?

Is anyone using Arturia Pigments 4 in Renoise?
Pigments is not playing nicely with Renoise at all, but I’m not sure if it’s due to Pigments, Renoise or something else. Is anyone else using this synth? I’m finding that often parts of the GUI disappear entirely, and from version 4 it seems to crash if multiple instances are used. I’m at a loss because it is my favourite synth, and I would like to be able to use it in my favourite DAW.

Barricade - BRCD [EP]
After a decade of writing VRC6 chiptunes, and a few years of using Renoise, I’ve finally pulled my shit together enough to release ‘something’. I guess it’s somewhere between chiptune and 90s EDM, but I’m not sure what box it fits into.
I tried my best to make it concise, and with a sense of pacing and variety. Was a lot of fun to make, and I’ll probably try to put another project like this out in the upcoming year, probably a longer one as well. I’d like to hear thoughts.

Failed to start Renoise as ReWire slave (Windows 11)
I’m on Windows 11 Pro (22621.963) trying to Rewire Renoise (3.4.2 win64) to Reaper (v6.72 win64) as the master.
What could be the issue here?

Releasing a CC song
Hi; I created a thing and would like to release it as a creative commons bit of music so it’ll organically be used everywhere. How do? Just dump it on the YouTube and say it’s creative commons or should I upload it somewhere? It loops nice and it’d be nice if people said who made it and whatnot but I could care less if they just used it unless they were like yeah that’s my track lol. It be neat if it was so good it was one of those pre available tracks that could be used in making a video on YT.

Yabridge and manjaro prob
hello i have try yabridge in the past and it work but now i’ve a new computer i install it and sync my vst but when i try to scan them with renoise ,it doesn’t work i tblock at the first plugin and a prompt appears (you’ve not realtime privileges)

Buying serial number for Renoise 2.8.2 (in 2022)
If I buy the serial number for the full version of Renoise, will I still be able to use version 2.8.2, or would I have to upgrade to 3.4?
The reason why this would not work for me, is because I have an older mac, and only version 2.8.2 seems to work (I’ve tried installing newer versions, and it does not work) I’ve had the Demo for a bit now, and I really want to buy the full version. Just want to make sure that when I do buy it, I will be able to use it while still being able to use version 2.8.2.

Support for multiple (computer) keyboards
Imagine a modern notebook with a smaller keyboard that also is used as a workstation via a docking station. Currently you can only setup the shortcuts either for the notebook keyboard or a connected fullsize keyboard, but not both at once. I think this scenario exists very often these days, so support for shortcuts per keyboard would be nice. I have no idea, if the os exposes the keyboard information and key source in an appropriate way though…
If the above is not possible, then a way to step thru multiple keyboard bindings would be nice. Maybe a selectbox which shows the last loaded bindings/paths and is placed right to the “Oct” stepper.
