    This renoise 2.7 version is credible i must say. Its each and every function and feature is superb. I always love music specially guitar and piano.

    I like the design, but don't like that all link clicks are overridden so middle mouse button (open in new tab) is interpreted as a left click.

    It's not exactly a visual tool for the job, but this plugin allows you to time-stretch and pitch-shift samples: http://www.renoise.com/tools/rubberband-timestretch-pitch-shift
