What about multiple keyzones layers for each instrument? I mean the possibility to create several layers that would be played separately depending on the playable MIDI channel or some other value. For example, I have audio samples of a violin separated by velocity and articulation. So I can easily add samples of different velocity to sample, but I can’t add different articulation layers and switch between them in some way. For example, in SFZ we can add such groups and switch between them with modulation wheel, some key switches (C0 - for staccato, C#0 - for tremolo, D0 - for sustain), etc.
What do you think about this? How is it easy to implement with current architecture?

LFO reset in doofer

The macro knob seems to only react to value changes. Maybe a special case could be made for macros assigned to reset buttons, so that these triggers (like 2100 on a macro) won’t slip by? Or maybe this behavior with macros could be removed altogether?

Tried to master the track but just ended up destroying the overall sound so I just went back to an older mix of it instead even though it’s a fair bit quieter. Might try again but for now this is as far I’m gonna edit it.
Need to get a better piano VST as well, playing chords on this one makes the transients too boomy or loud or something, it’s like the notes stack and the amplitude spikes. Anyways it is what it is, might fork out the cash for Pianoteq 6 sometime soon instead.

– You can only use the samples provided in the Samplepack.
– You are not limited to how much you cut them up, but you can not add fx in the process in any way. (All sounds used have to be unaltered from the original sample file, only sliced up however you want)
– You can use any internal DSP/FX in your DAW. (Envelope shaping will probably be useful)
– You can NOT use any VST/VSTi/AU etc.
– Keep your project file around just in case.
How to Submit?
- You will need to create an account with us. This is to limit spam and make sure we can get in touch with you for purposes of this competition.
- Upload your track (MP3) somewhere we can download it from
- Hit the Contact Us form, make sure the subject is relevant to this submission (ie. “Competition entry”)

I need a little advice before tracking
