Best Views

Best Views is a simple view keyboard shortcut add-on/enhancement especially targeted at laptops and other smaller / widescreen resolutions. The following shortcuts are added:

• Pattern Editor/Mixer/Sample Editor/Sample Keyzones: switches to these views, if the center view is already there: if only top or bottom view is active, cycle that one, if they’re both active (i mean visible), hide them both
• ClearView: hide upper and lower frame
• Upper Frame: toggle upper frame, if coming up, switch to: track scopes if in PE, master spectr if in mixer, disk browser if in keyzones, and master scopes if in SE
• Lower Frame: toggle lower frame, if coming to visible, switch to: track DSPs if in PE, mixer, or SE; instrument settings if in SK
• Rotate Upper/Middle/Lower Frame (Reverse): simple buttons to go to the next/prev view in that part

The good thing is that you don’t have to use all of these.. if you don’t like the preselections of Upper/Lower Frame, you can simply use the Renoise default shortcuts instead.

Ideas for keybinds, I don’t know the perfect config for myself yet, but what about NumPad 7/9, 4/6, 1/3 for cycle with some modkey, then 5’s for clear view and 6 for normal focus track dsps and 8 for focus instr box?
