Chords

PhraseTouch is an extensive complement for Renoise (v3.1.1 and future versions) created by ulneiz, that allows the multiple trigger of notes and phrases (simultaneously), among many other things, by deploying up to 16 panels of notes. It is compatible with OSC, has its own keyboard commands and is widely compatible with MIDI Input.

Radically alter the way you play your Renoise Instruments! Create tunings for your Renoise Instruments, lock them to a scale and turn individual notes into Chords that are also locked to the same scale.

New in version 2.2:
- Scale preset feature with 42 built in presets.
- Base note feature, play chords in D Major, E minor or whatever scale and key combination you want.
- Quick set feature for Octave, Chord key and Chord Octave. Set all 12 notes with one click.
- GUI tweaks

This tool shows "Roman Numeral" chord analysis of the current Pattern-Track.

Simply make sure the cursor in the pattern editor is on the track that you want to analyse, then use the menu entry or shortcut to open the tool. Choose the key that your song is in and you will get an on-screen print out of the chords present in that pattern-track.

There is also an export feature for the whole-track or selection in sequencer. The resulting text file is best viewed in Wordpad or similar as it contains formatting data.
