I get this feeling when I open up Logic Pro and see presets and instruments that look and feel like the instruments and sounds I know as a musician and listener.

Extra:

When i start Renoise clean, and load the plugin. It works (until saving/reloading later). However, when i select a sound, the window changes shortly with a ‘please wait’ screen to load up the actually sample. Maybe this causes strange behaviour within Renoise upon loading the instrument along with the song?

I realize it’s just a simple rompler, and probably not one of the best plugins written. However, it should kind of work correctly i think!

The reason for this is that I don’t want to interrupt the playback, because I want to decide what notes to enter based on what I’m hearing and how the song feels, and I only know that when it’s playing. When it stops I lose the place.

In the old days in Impulse Tracker I used to keep the pattern looping and enter the notes just behind the playback cursor. This helps me see where I am in the pattern and editing becomes something between playing live and composing. It sounds horrible while you’re entering the notes but it’s great when it loops back round and everything resolves perfectly into place. Also you can race the play cursor and write the part in one loop and this feels somehow like winning. Playing live and then editing feels like admin, I have to tell you.

I’ve tried Renoise a few times over the years and it’s great. I put some time into learning its ways and forgetting my 90s habits, but I’ve finally realised that this quirk is what’s stopping me getting further than putting a few ideas down. If I could get this one thing to work it would be huge. Everything would be perfect. I absolutely promise you the album I’d make would be monstrous.

How do I do it!?

There are only kickbass and a sample on top which is sidechained, in my experience there must not happen such phenomenon.

1- I thought it was happening by 3rd plugins, so I tested all the stems to render and putting them back into the new project but had the same

2 - I thought it’s because of too much gain in the moment so that it happened, I tested -1db on master but it was same(I’m new here and forum says I can’t put any more picture here on this topic so sorry I can’t show it, but it was same)

3 - Tested putting all stems on cubase - no cracking anymore, tested on renoise 3.2 and was no problem. so I’m here writting all the things happened to me. I think I will use ver 3.2 for the moment.
