FX chain save/load bug
Some plugins do not save their state (or restore) when fx chain is saved and then load again.
For example 2B Warble. It saves parameters good with project, but not as part of fx chain if I want to save it and load into another project.

Simple tool request
Ok so this is a bit cheeky but can anyone out there build a simple tool for me,basically what im looking for is a little tool that lets me select a range in the instrument list for example 10 - 2F and when i have a sample or samples selected in the pattern editor and load the tool i can just press a button and it shifts all selected samples incrementally between this range starting from 10 and finishes at 2F. Maybe there is already a way to do this other than manually typing each instrument hex number in?
So basically when multiple samples are selected,i can just set a range and each time i press the button it changes all the samples to the first hex number in the range i set,press again and they shift to the second hex number and so on.

Envelope follower instant attack
The attack on the evelope-signal follower is NEVER instant ,even when set to 0ms
And for some reason the lookahead is greyed out

Comparator Formula
Howdy there
Perhaps you might find this useful. Input is compared against Threshold, Output is 1.0 when Input is greater than or equal to Threshold, Output is 0.0 when Input is less than Threshold

Pops and Clicks in the sampler
I’ve been noticing some really loud pops and clicks in some of my Renoise instruments that I can’t seem to tame with volume envelopes, the “fade-in” button in the sample options, or manually creating a fade-in in the sample editor. These clicks appear both in live playback and in rendered tracks.
My playback settings are fine. Plugin instruments sound fine. The pops only seem to happen at the start of a note, and are more apparent at lower pitches.
Here’s an example song. I’ve rendered part of the song to the second instrument where you can clearly hear the popping.

Scale locking within phrase editor
The scale locking feature in renoise is fantastic,however there is one thing that really bugs the shit out of me.When making a phrase with scale lock on,renoise allows you to input notes that are not within the scale,i am aware that these outside notes are still transposed to the given scale but there is imo a better system.Maybe only allow notes to be input within the chosen scale,then afterwards if the user feels like it they can input blue notes by switching the scale lock off.And the phrase does not transpose the outside notes?Maybe if people still want this feature add a button or whatever to switch between these two different modes of scale locking?

just same small track I cooked up recently. it’s fully sequenced in Renoise (on Linux), and except two hardware instruments (Volca Bass and Waldorf Blofeld), all sounds are either samples or vsts. Remastered by SoundCloud.

Creating Phrases Edit Section
It says I can do it when I right click but I get a message that says.
“Sorry, can currently not create phrases from instruments which already use phrases.”
I made sure that the Phrases were off but still the same message appears, I can copy and paste them and it works that way but I just don’t understand why it is the way it is?
It also creates a new Instrument when that button is pressed and not just a new Phrase within the Instrument being used.

Effect Minimization Button?
It would be nice if there was a little button near the Effects that minimized all the Effects in a chain to make browsing them faster.

Muting Loaded Samples in the Sampler list?
I noticed that there’s a move to Note-On/Note-Off layer but this seems convoluted and I hate having to go back and forth between menus when a simple Strikethrough line, to show muted and unmuted Samples, would of sufficed. Is there a better way to do this? I do like having a Phrase going and just plugging in different Samples to see how it sounds, and having a little togglable icon next to the filename would be great.

Apply LFO and envelope to same parameter
I’m trying to create a riser effect by having an envelope that sweeps the filter cutoff up over some period of time.
In addition to that, I would like to get some variety in the riser by adding an LFO that modulates the cutoff a tiny bit.
However, as soon as I turn on the LFO it seems to take precedence and completely overrides the envelope.
I can get the result I would like by adding the envelope for the filter offset in this case but that seems kind of confusing to me.
Is there a way to set the LFO to be relative to what the envelope sets as opposed to overwriting it?

Banger Track Form Button?
I know that there’s the favorite button but it would be pog if there was also a button to collect posted tracks to a post list so as to make it real simple to collect all the good song related posted content and whatnot. Maybe also other buttons for other things like plugins, or instruments and stuff like that.

I’m trying to get that glide sound, which I think is just pitch, and have it be MIDI mappable to a knob on a keyboard. Would I use RingMod or something else?

Is anyone using Arturia Pigments 4 in Renoise?
Pigments is not playing nicely with Renoise at all, but I’m not sure if it’s due to Pigments, Renoise or something else. Is anyone else using this synth? I’m finding that often parts of the GUI disappear entirely, and from version 4 it seems to crash if multiple instances are used. I’m at a loss because it is my favourite synth, and I would like to be able to use it in my favourite DAW.
