I expect to get a bit of backlash from this given his controversial outcome.
Neither do i know if this is the appropriate place to ask, however;

I’ve been fascinated with his techniques and music for a while now, just unfortunately got into his music a little too late.

It’s been a dream of mine to source out these old xrns files of his to look into how he made his tracks.

These would’ve been under: http://www.weyheyhey.uk/rns, weyheyhey.com/final_pub.zip
But no archiving site has these and there’s seemingly no trace of these anywhere.

So if anyone’s willing to share these or knows where to get them I’d be more than happy.

Hi, I’m trying to map a MIDI CC to the BPM parameter but the min/max values are 60 and 187 respectively, and I would like a wider range than that. The min/max options are grayed out in the MIDI Mapping menu.

Is there another way to change the range of mapped values for this parameter?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I’ve used Renoise to sequence, the drums are sampled 909 with some analogue style instabilities. Using TAL Juno + 101 synths and Samples from old breakbeat CD compilations.

Mixing and Mastering was done with Reaper.

So, here’s what I do, Arcade is awesome but nothing beats the Track FX+Sampler+FX, NOTHING!

So I just convert all my fav packs, samples and note kits into Renoise Instruments and go from there.

Anyone else use Arcade, Splice, or any other subscription service with Renoise?

Hi there, great day to you,

How would i trigger patterns in Redux, haven’t been able to figure it out, every time everything goes haywire when trying to start arrangement…

I only want to compose a song. like in Renoise… and have it run on the exact time with the DAW

so 2 things

1. how do i sync Redux with the main DAW song/pattern/timeline
2. how do i make the song/pattern sequence triggerable/play in sync with the song

Renoise crashed aound 11:49 , windows log shows that cytomic the drop is the culprit , renoie log file doesn’t show anything .

i downloaded redux demo to try out, i only have windows and i already found out that i have on my c drive VstPlugins folder there i have placed the whole program redux to open the DLL file but then i get a warning from windows that it can damage other directories i do have an option to use a directory to choose which one should i use to make the program redux work so i can try it out please advice

Just got this famous compressor on sale right now, but when you open the plugin and close it then any keypress keeps repeating several characters after release, when you remove the plugin the system gets back to being properly responsive.

1. Open Renoise, 1% CPU usage is shown in both Renoise and Task manager.

2. Add SSL Native Bus Compressor 2 (either VST or VST3) and it still appear to be using 1% CPU at the top right corner but in Task Manager CPU usage jumps to 25% and oddly Renoise has disappeared from the task manager list. Keyboard is still responding fine though.

3. Open the SSL plugin and close it, then the system gets sluggish and keypresses hangs or repeats for a second longer than it should when you hold a key down for a bit, ie. if you press an arrow key it will keep moving after you have released the key.

4. Remove the plugin and Renoise appears back in the Task Manager list and the cursor/system gets back to being responsive.

5. Another thing worth mentioning is that I had Sandboxing enabled to be able to use Soundtoys effectrack, if I add the SSL compressor and then turn off sandboxing then even though I open and close the plugin the cursor is still properly responsive. It still works as it should if I turn sandboxing back on.

I’m on a i5-9600k (6 cores) CPU, Win10.

I have a gabber drum being sent to a filter that sweeps up.During playback it sounds fine but once the track is rendered it disappears and makes the kick drum phase,why is this?Any way around it?

Hi.
Im just setting up an akai midimix and wondered if anyone else had this problem.
for the mute and solo selection l can only get the button to work in “mute on” i cannot press the same button to turn “mute off”.

I don’t know useful this would be for Renoise users, but since it’s really fast and (still?) free, I figure it might be interesting to play around with for some peeps

Shorten and lengthen a song, making it the perfect length to match a video or performance. Keep the vibe of the song with seamless transitions.
